Financial Associate

We are seeking a Financial Associate to join our team at Edward Jones, where you will play a vital role in serving existing clients and deepening their relationships with the firm.

As a Financial Associate, you will work closely with a Financial Advisor to enhance client relationships and streamline services. Your strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to continuous learning will enable you to address clients' needs effectively and contribute to the overall success of the branch.

You will be responsible for gathering information and suitability data to open new accounts, researching portfolio performance, and making recommendations to the Financial Advisor. Your ability to execute buy/sell orders, answer client questions, and develop business plans will be essential in driving growth and achieving results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deepen relationships with existing clients by gathering information and suitability data to open new accounts
• Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, changes to portfolio construction/investments, and make recommendations to the Financial Advisor
• Execute Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients
• Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred
• Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period
• FINRA registrations are required within three months
