Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including monitoring their behavior and providing assistance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and support staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $22 - $24 per hour.
  • A $2,500 sign-on bonus.
  • Opportunities for additional routes and pay for school activity and trip assignments.
  • Same schedule as students, with flexible nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off.
  • Company-paid life insurance and employee assistance plan.
  • Dental and vision plans available on a voluntary basis.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history.
  • A clean criminal history record and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • A passing score on an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • A passing score on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and participation in random drug and alcohol testing programs throughout employment.
