Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Fastenal's distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in facilitating the movement of product throughout our facility to company-owned branches. Your responsibilities will include packaging, manifesting, and shipping customer orders via a 3rd party carrier. You will also be responsible for weighing, sorting, and stacking product, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your work area. Responsibilities:

* Package, manifest, and ship customer orders
* Weigh, sort, and stack product
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area
* Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations
* Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety, and sustainability objectives
* Learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings

Requirements:

* 18 years of age or over
* Proficient written and oral communication skills
* Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
* Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
* Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
* Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
* Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
