About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Accounting and Analysis: Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures to accurately capture and analyze manufacturing costs.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation and management, ensuring accurate reporting of inventory levels, variances, and obsolescence.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, variance analyses, and other financial statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing and e-commerce operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and process optimization within the manufacturing and e-commerce operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial reporting; proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
