Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Ambe Healthcare Staffing. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and related procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You will work closely with our radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and related procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images, using knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters to enhance image quality and minimize unnecessary exposure.
  • Perform routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on scanners, as recommended by the manufacturer and/or organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures, as needed.
  • Complete documentation, in designated areas, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
  • Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.
  • Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of quality indicators, as described in the strategic plan.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification, required within 60 days of hire.
  • Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.
  • ARRT CT registry eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year post-graduation experience with trauma radiology.

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with varying shifts and on-call requirements. The role may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, and other chemicals and medications used in healthcare settings.
