Ryder Systems is seeking an experienced Warehouse Senior Industrial Engineer to lead its continuous improvement initiatives. As a key member of the operations team, this individual will be responsible for driving process improvements across various functions, ensuring operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This challenging role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations Management to develop and implement CI projects that drive business results, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing comprehensive CI plans, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions
  • Collecting data, performing statistical analysis, and mapping processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Coaching employees in lean principles, value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and other CI methodologies
  • Maintaining QMS based on established company and/or industry standards
  • Supporting regulatory compliance and certification requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain) or equivalent experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing, with 5+ years of related work experience. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, are essential. Data visualization and database programming experience are highly desirable.
