Job Overview

NSC Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using technical drawings and testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, modification, and repair of equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  • Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues and improve equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment, including hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill, and lathe.
  • Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of the plant or machine center.
