Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $39.94 - $61.91 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience.

Job Description

This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position supporting The Oncology Ambulatory Clinics. As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will be involved in the entire continuum of care for patients, serving as a resource to both the patient and provider team.

You will be responsible for complex, multi-disciplinary care coordination of oncology patients, developing, evaluating, and revising the plan of care using a team approach that includes the patient, family, and care team.

The clinics provide standard of care and research chemotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care infusions, and clinical interventions. Additional responsibilities include nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, care coordination, ambulatory clinical evaluation, and advanced drug preparation.

Patients are seen in our NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This role supports adult patients with our GU Service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing program required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • 3 years of RN work experience in oncology required
