Chief Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our quality and clinical transformation efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospital operations, quality improvement, and physician leadership development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and expertise for hospital quality and clinical effectiveness
- Develop and implement effective disease management programs, clinical protocols, and guidelines
- Monitor physician and group patterns, present data, analysis, and interpretation to physicians and physician committees
- Assure that quality management programs are carried out in all clinical areas
- Develop a performance database incorporating JCAHO and other key quality indicators
- Partner and collaborate with the medical staff and management team to facilitate teamwork and shared goals
- MD or DO degree, completed residency training in a recognized specialty, board certification in the specialty of training and management
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous practice experience and proven leadership skills and accomplishments
- Knowledge of hospital structure, operations, and infrastructure of quality and utilization
- Experience in managing, developing, and mentoring physicians
