Job Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and housekeeping in and around company facilities. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and previous experience in a similar field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain terminal areas, offices, restrooms, and break-rooms to meet company standards
  • Remove all refuse and ensure trash cans are empty and clean
  • Restock restrooms with necessary supplies
  • Relocate, move, and adjust office furniture as necessary
  • Ensure pest control systems are operating efficiently
  • Remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots
  • Maintain company grounds free from litter and debris
  • Prepare reports on labor and equipment
  • Maintain a log on equipment repairs
  • Prepare accurate records and reports as required
  • Report safety problems to the shift supervisor
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience required
