Position Overview:
Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. This role encompasses the responsibility for comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, all grounded in evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously enhance the quality of nursing care through data collection and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to patient care standards and practices as established by nursing protocols.
- Maintain current education and specialty certifications relevant to the department's scope of service.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a nursing program with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
- Previous nursing experience is advantageous.
- Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days of hire.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on departmental needs.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time or 0.9 FTE, requiring 72 hours every pay period with varied shifts.
