Statewide Agricultural Statistics Surveyor

Role Overview:

The Statewide Agricultural Statistics Surveyor will be responsible for collecting and analyzing agricultural data from across the state. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Surveyor, you will conduct surveys and gather information on agricultural activities, including crop yields, livestock production, and other relevant data. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the surveys, including notes, photographs, and any other relevant information.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $16.31/hour, plus mileage with opportunities for a promotion based on hours worked and performance ratings. We offer a flexible schedule that may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays, which can affect work hours due to weather, seasonal farm responsibilities, and community functions. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to multitask in an energetic and deadline-oriented work environment, and have knowledge about computers or iPads.
