We are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic and Repair Expert to join our team at US Foods, Inc.
Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment including tractors, trailers, and reefers.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards.
- Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability.
The successful candidate will have prior experience working in a shop environment, knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs, along with strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay starting at $32.05 per hour, opportunities for overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
