Position Overview:
As a Litigation Counsel specializing in Personal Injury, you will be instrumental in steering the complete litigation process, from the initial filing to the final verdict.

Key Responsibilities:
Your role encompasses managing CPL (Commercial Property and Liability) cases, ensuring adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs), and effectively preparing pre-litigation cases for subsequent legal actions.

You will report to supervising attorneys and/or the firm's partners, taking on supervisory responsibilities over litigation assistants, paralegals, and CPL case managers.

Essential Duties:
- Screening potential litigation clients
- Conducting thorough case law research
- Managing comprehensive case records while coordinating with insurance companies
- Drafting essential legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Preparing for and participating in mediations under supervision
- Negotiating settlements and interviewing witnesses
- Advocating for clients in trials and preparing them for depositions

In addition, you will provide expert counsel to clients, investigate coverage issues, and engage in medical management on their behalf.

Throughout these diverse responsibilities, you will maintain a collaborative approach, working closely with supervising attorneys to ensure effective and thorough management of litigation matters.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
