Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Specialist to join our team at Addus HomeCare. As a Home Health Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care services, including toileting, feeding, and transferring.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other essential destinations.
  • Administer medications and assist with self-administration.
  • Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to our team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be a Certified Home Health or Personal Care Aide.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and PPD test.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a nurturing and compassionate nature, with a desire to care for others.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
