The Heat Group is seeking a dedicated full-time Safety and Security Coordinator to support the management of security-related incidents and challenges that may occur during events or within the facility. The primary responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Addressing any disturbances or issues that arise during events or within the facility. If necessary, escorting disruptive individuals to the security office or off the premises.
  • Documenting incidents and collaborating with the security supervisor to evaluate procedures.
  • Inspecting alarm systems and fire safety equipment to ensure proper functionality. Conducting thorough inspections of the premises for any signs of unauthorized access or tampering.
  • Conducting regular tours of the facility to check that all entry points, including doors, windows, and gates, are secure.
  • Assisting with crowd management both inside and outside the venue.
  • Managing unusual situations and emergencies, including fires, severe weather, riots, and other critical incidents.
  • Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances promptly.
  • Providing support to various departments regarding security-related matters.
  • Being available for extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Contributing to special projects within the security division.
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must be capable of performing each essential duty effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.   • A minimum of one year of relevant security experience and/or training is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of security protocols pertinent to major sports and entertainment venues. A Class D License is mandatory.
