  • Regularly inspecting primary dimensions and applying thermal management techniques to uphold quality standards.
  • Executing die and bolster changes in accordance with established protocols.
  • Preparing the exit table to facilitate smooth transfer of extruded materials from lead out to run out table.
  • Maintaining setup integrity throughout the operation and ensuring seamless transfers.
  • Keeping workspaces free of debris and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Carrying out additional assigned responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in aluminum extrusion press operation is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret production documents and safety manuals
  • Basic skills in mathematics, reading, and writing
  • Strong communication abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Commitment to following safety protocols consistently
  • Positive demeanor and eagerness to learn and develop
  • Participation in all safety and production training sessions is expected

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Exposure to various environmental conditions such as dust, fumes, noise, and temperature fluctuations
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Capability to stand for long durations, bend, stoop, and lift weights up to 100 pounds
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts primarily in a standing position
