Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a PRN Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse licensure with a multistate compact status.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
- Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
- NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
- Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
