Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform various medical procedures, including intubation, ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Current ACLS and PALs certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
