Position Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician specializing in Non-Sterile Compounding. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding Preparation: Skillfully measure and weigh ingredients, adhering to precise formula guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Conduct in-process quality assessments to ensure all compounds conform to established standards.
  • Equipment Handling: Effectively operate, calibrate, and maintain compounding equipment.
  • Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of compounding activities, including calculations, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Supply Management: Monitor, order, and receive inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations, including USP and USP .
  • Sanitation and Upkeep: Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of workspaces and equipment.
Qualifications
  • Certification: Possession of Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is typically required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a compounding laboratory is advantageous.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional accuracy in measuring and mixing components.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with pharmacists and team members.
  • Flexibility: Capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment and adjusting to workflow changes.
  • Experience in compounding various forms such as capsules, topicals, and troches.
