Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-based quality improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, notes, and physician orders, adhering to documentation standards.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
