Position Overview:
The Lead Solutions Architect will leverage a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. As a vital member of the System Team, you will cultivate strong, impactful relationships across Product ARTs and IT shared services. Your role will involve hands-on configuration, development, and implementation tasks as necessary.
You will demonstrate effectiveness in both independent and collaborative project environments that span various time zones.
A strong proficiency in Java code is essential for identifying bugs during code reviews and collaborating with product vendors.
You will conduct health checks and proactive monitoring utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and UNIX shell scripts. Additionally, you will establish and manage a Disaster Recovery environment to ensure business continuity.Compliance with all operational controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI policies, and security standards, is crucial. You will also be responsible for applying security patches as they are released and interfacing with Oracle for technical issue resolution.
Preparation of production readiness documentation using Confluence for implementations of medium to high complexity is expected.
Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Xstore Xenvironment and EFTLink
- Strong understanding of Xstore architecture, including Lead-Non lead
- Familiarity with Xstore Office suite
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Xstore and Retail suite data models
- Knowledge of the End of Day (EOD) process and store opening procedures for Xstore POS
- Experience with Oracle Retail (MOM) and POS (Xstore) implementations
- Expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex clustered Oracle WebLogic and Web-Server environments
- Broad knowledge of DevOps tools and capabilities
- Ability to install and configure High Availability Architecture on EXADATA platforms
- Proven skills in performance analysis and tuning of application systems, particularly Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Retail, and POS (Xstore)
- Demonstrated techniques in troubleshooting issues to resolution, specifically with Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Retail (Xstore)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 8+ years of IT experience implementing various Oracle products (required)
- 5 or more years of experience with ORACLE Xstore & Retail (MOM) Suite (required)
- Expert understanding of Oracle Application Techstack & ORACLE RDBMS (required)
- Expert understanding of Agile Framework (SAFe) (preferred/plus)
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence (preferred/plus)
Preferred Development Experience:
Familiarity with Ansible, Azure, Groovy, Maven, Splunk, and AppD (preferred/plus)
