Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities consulting group, you will be responsible for managing structural or building enclosure projects, providing assessments and investigative services for the built environment, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage structural or building enclosure projects from inception to completion
  • Conduct thorough assessments and investigations of building envelope issues
  • Develop and implement repair strategies for damaged or deteriorated structures
  • Mentor and train junior staff on forensic investigation techniques and best practices
  • Collaborate with senior staff members on various projects and provide expert advice on structural engineering matters
  • Prepare detailed reports and proposals for clients
  • Manage budgets and prepare invoices for clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of relevant building facilities consulting experience, including management of structural or building enclosure projects and provision of assessments and investigative services
  • EIT, PE, or SI license preferred
