About the Role

As a Hospice Nurse Director at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, you will lead our interdisciplinary team of hospice professionals and manage all aspects of terminal care for our hospice patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff and manage day-to-day office and clinical operations, including documentation requirements, service coordination, and case management.
  • Plan the delivery, coordination, and interdisciplinary team interventions for the branch hospice agency.
  • Assign staff members to patients and act as a team staff nurse when necessary.
  • Participate in community awareness and education programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience within the past 36 months and one year of experience in a hospice setting.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice operations.
  • Hospice RN experience preferred.
