Your Role:

Semios + Agworld is in search of a knowledgeable and dynamic expert in Pest Management to serve as a Grower Relations Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will educate and provide insights on Integrated Pest Management solutions to our customers and prospects. This position involves significant community engagement with clients, influential industry stakeholders, and pest management specialists, requiring travel to deliver expert technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

  • Participate actively in local events, industry conferences, and agricultural gatherings, including delivering presentations.
  • Act as a resource and collaborative partner for growers, advisors, and retailers.

Pre-Sales Activities:

  • Educate potential clients on Integrated Pest Management practices and Semios + Agworld offerings.
  • Share insights and trends within the pest management industry.
  • Conduct consultations and field assessments to address customer needs.

Client Interaction:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Provide customized solutions and recommendations tailored to specific customer challenges.
  • Serve as a resource during the growing season, addressing subject area and product inquiries.
  • Act as a technical advisor during pre-sales discussions and product demonstrations.
  • Manage product demonstrations, including data collection and trial oversight, culminating in a comprehensive customer review at season's end.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Semios + Agworld's Pest Management products.
  • Train internal sales teams on product features, advantages, and applications.
  • Stay informed about new product developments and industry trends.

Strategic Contributions:

  • Assist in creating after-action reports and strategic plans.
  • Engage in regular meetings with sales teams and fellow Grower Relations specialists to evaluate performance and strategize for future seasons.
  • Contribute to the refinement of products and services based on market feedback.

Content Development:

  • Lead webinars, workshops, and training sessions focused on Pest Management and related tools.
  • Support the creation of educational materials, including whitepapers, case studies, and technical guides.
  • Deliver in-season product assurance reports, regional updates, and end-of-season summaries to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Entomology, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical Pest Management support or a related agricultural field.
  • Strong grasp of integrated pest management practices and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Experience in product training and educational content creation.
  • Experience in providing technical support in a scientific context is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a 4-wheeler.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a PCA/Commercial Pest Control license within six months.

Compensation:

This role offers an exempt salary position with a compensation range of $78,000 - $90,000. Please note that the offered base pay may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
