Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a respiratory therapist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians. Your responsibilities will include administering medical gas, providing aerosol therapy, analyzing blood specimens, and operating various types of respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an RT Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Administer medical gas, provide aerosol therapy, and analyze blood specimens
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory equipment, including mechanical ventilators
  • Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and provide patient education
  • Maintain accurate documentation of in-patient and departmental records

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care
  • NBRC RRT certification
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire
  • One year of recent clinical experience preferred
