We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans and the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, their family, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Work effectively within a team to ensure quality care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Utilize computer systems for charting and order entry.
- Texas or Compact State Nursing License – RN required.
- NRP Certification (Chapters 1-9) within 3 months of hire or immediately with Newborn, Labor and Delivery/Antepartum experience.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or immediately if required at previous employer.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring through AWHONN within 6 months from finish of floor orientation.
- Graduate from an Accredited Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree of Nursing Program.
- Ability to work within a team to ensure quality care.
- Computer literate in charting and order entry.
- Perinatal and neonatal healthcare experience.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
