Your expertise in hand therapy will enable you to make a significant impact on patients' lives, helping them to achieve optimal hand function and independence.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and direct patient care services to ensure that patient needs are met.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to establish effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, modifying treatment as needed to ensure goal achievement.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper hand care techniques and strategies for optimal hand function.
• Collect and analyze data from selected outcome measures to monitor patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of treatment costs and financial support, including budgeting, staffing, billing, and procedural planning tasks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program or Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Colorado or Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Colorado.
• Current unrestricted certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, with recertification every 5 years.
