Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing complex respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients and serving as a mentor and resource for staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilation management and oxygen therapy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Act as a resource and mentor for staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
  • At least two years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a pediatric setting.
  • RRT credential required.
  • Meets and maintains requirements of Policy 211-NAM Professional Advancement Ladder – Respiratory Care.
