- Care Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless care delivery, promoting high-quality and effective patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, including initial history, physical, and chart documents, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Medication Administration: Safely and effectively administer medications and treatments, documenting all interactions and interventions.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and families with information relative to treatment plans, disease processes, and care between visits and after discharge, ensuring understanding and adherence to care plans.
- Leadership and Direction: Provide oversight and guidance to LPN, tech, and other associates, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete tasks and documentation accurately within set time frames, including AED checks, autoclave maintenance, glucometer calibration, and HBO chamber list management.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Licenses and Certifications: BLS required, RN License in state of employment or compact
