As a Resident Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage residents in meaningful interactions and activities, promoting socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity.
  • Monitor residents' needs, preferences, and health status, reporting any changes to the RN or designee.
  • Participate in on-going in-service training programs and mandatory education requirements.
  • Document services provided, including incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events.
  • Conduct and facilitate programming, including therapeutic groups and individual interaction.

Requirements

  • Current license/certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent training/experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with office software.
  • Prior experience providing direct care or equivalent training preferred.
  • Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia preferred.
