We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Leader to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for providing daily engineering support across various departments including customer service, manufacturing, and sales.

Your role will encompass all facets of existing product lines, spearheading new product research and development, and facilitating the introduction of innovative products to the market. This includes managing all engineering and product documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive for engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff recruitment and development
  • Management of new product research and development (design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and release)
  • Maintenance of existing product lines (design, value engineering, engineering modifications)
  • Sales support for special projects (quoting, costing, support drawings)
  • Customer assistance (product application, specification review, product cross-referencing)
  • Troubleshooting and field service management (post-sale product installations)
  • Generation of product literature (information and performance data)
  • Software maintenance and enhancements (collaborate with programming teams as necessary)
  • Management of test laboratory activities, facilities, and equipment
  • Conducting customer presentations and training sessions
  • Overseeing product certifications
  • CNC punching and laser programming
  • Active participation in industry associations and societies
  • Engineering review of complex orders
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Operations Leader in a manufacturing environment (HVAC industry experience is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in product drawing/documentation software (Solid Modeling/CAD)
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel are advantageous
