Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a high case load, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements: BCLS certification is required, with ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross preferred, and chemotherapy administration certification also preferred.
  • Job Details: This is a travel/contract position with a 36 or 48 hour work schedule, with every other weekend required. The facility is a part of the DCH Health System and is located in Tuscaloosa, AL.
  • Unit Information: The unit is primarily Ortho/post-surgical and trauma, with a select part dedicated to oncology patients. Chemotherapy is sometimes administered by trained nurses who are certified.
  • Requirements: 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, with first-time travelers accepted. Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses, and pass a cardiac exam during orientation.
  • Schedule Information: 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position, with every other weekend required. Floater nurses are required and must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses.
