Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to students within our partner educational institutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language capabilities to formulate and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct thorough assessments, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports that highlight strengths and areas for improvement in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Utilize current professional literature and evidence-based practices to inform clinical decisions.
  • Create a conducive learning atmosphere through effective management strategies, including procedural guidelines and instructional groupings.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, collaborative team discussions, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Develop treatment plans that are centered on the strengths of the child and family, promoting overall educational success.
  • Ensure that evaluations, intervention strategies, and service delivery comply with educational, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support and guide educators in identifying and referring students with potential speech and language challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Possession of a valid state SLP license.
  • Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
