Job Summary:

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal HR Coordinator to join our Team Service Office team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving employee grievances and concerns, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and concerns in a fair and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR databases, including EAS, Optimum 8, and UKG applications
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Input, track, and counsel team members on attendance and policy violations
  • Execute the Team Six Reward employee program, promoting employee engagement and recognition
  • Adhere to and model Grooming, Guest First, and Safety Standards, ensuring a positive and safe work environment
  • Assist in other aspects of Human Resources, including Employment & Recruiting, Administration, and Wardrobe
  • Electronically file employee files, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Assist in the administration of the International Hiring Program, including transportation of employees and sharing company culture
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the TSO office, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist in Wardrobe as needed, supporting employee needs and ensuring a positive work environment
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, supporting the overall success of the park

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Available to work up to 30 hours a week
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, manage time/tasks effectively, and maintain control over current cases/responsibilities
  • Willing to quickly learn and conduct HR-related investigations and utilize HR-related software
  • Discrete approach to sensitive, confidential, and complex employee relations issues
  • Friendly, outgoing personality, and the desire to interact with employees
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a sense of teamwork and positive attitude
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be confident and able to coach and engage with employees of all ages

Working Conditions:

This is a seasonal position, working up to 30 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires minimal supervision, and the ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy.
