Job Summary

As a Charge Nurse II - Acute Care, you will provide safe and effective patient care, while serving as a leader and advisor to the patient care team. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to other nursing staff members
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a charge/lead nurse role
  • Knowledge of a specialized field, with 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise (Med/Surg)
  • Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
