Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Keke's Breakfast Cafe. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dish room and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine to ensure efficient and sanitary washing cycles.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dish room and equipment, including the dish machine, sinks, and floors.

• Monitor the dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.

• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, including dishes, glasses, and utensils.

• Bag and haul trash to the dumpster, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.

• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.

• Clean food preparation, production areas, and the dish room as required.

Requirements:

• No previous restaurant experience required, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop, and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).

• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.

Work Schedule:

• Must be available to work 6:00 am to 4:00 pm every day, including holidays.

• Full-time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment.

• All employees must have dark blue jeans with a black belt and black non-slip shoes on the first day of work.
