We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Travel Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Memorial Medical Center. This is a contract nursing position that requires a strong background in level 3 NICU care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in NICU care.
- Current California RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a level 3 NICU setting.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
As a contract nurse with Memorial Medical Center, you will be required to obtain and maintain various certifications and complete compliance items, including:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CCRN, TNCC, EFM, Tech Cert Verification - National, and other certifications.
- State License 1 Verification.
- NURSYS Verification.
- IV Certification.
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification.
- NIH Stroke Certification.
- Certification (Miscellaneous).
- CPI certification.
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
- Competency Exam.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam.
