About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel opportunity in Canton, Georgia. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care by operating medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and answering questions as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnosis and treatment

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Certification in CT scanning, preferably from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management
