Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at Brooksby Village, a beautiful 90-acre continuing care retirement community located in Peabody, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Engineering and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, motors, hot water systems, and building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure, providing prompt and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect and monitor HVAC systems to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures to prevent failures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying new knowledge and techniques to improve our operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service, with a strong background in mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
  • Valid Driver's license and 3-year safe driving history.
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
