Job Title: Lead Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our culinary team at Foxdale Village Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and guests
  • Oversee the cooking activities of food and dining service associates
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and keeping storage areas organized
  • Follow guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Six to twelve months relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
