Woodworking Assembler

About Personnel Services Unlimited:

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Assembler to join our team in Shelby, NC. This full-time opportunity offers a chance to work with a local manufacturer specializing in custom assembly work.

• Assemble various custom products using materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.
• Utilize carpentry tools, including trim saws, vertical panel saws, and other equipment.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials safely.
• Apply basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and conversions, for accurate measurements.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and repairs when needed.
• Follow blueprints and scale drawings to ensure high-quality assembly.

• Forklift experience is required.
• Previous experience in assembly, carpentry, or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Proficiency in reading measurements to 1/16" inch.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
