Cement Mason

At Atkinson Construction, we are seeking a skilled Cement Mason to join our team. As a Cement Mason, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including chipping, patching, grinding, and setting concrete forms and perimeter forms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chipping and patching concrete surfaces
• Grinding and smoothing concrete surfaces
• Setting concrete forms and perimeter forms
• Setting screeds and screed pins
• Cutting, scoring, and sawing new concrete
• Plugging and filling Shee-Bolt holes
• Dry packing concrete and EMBECO
• Tending material hoses and mixer-truck chutes
• Bush hammering and patching
• Rodding, tamping, and operating rodding machines
• Bull floating and other cement mason tasks

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Cement Mason Foreman will supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of three or more Cement Masons.

Requirements:

• Must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Must have excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
