Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.

- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and establish and maintain a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
The successful candidate will have completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology and be eligible and/or current RCIS. Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred, but not required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess basic life support training or re-training and be willing to maintain ACLS certification.
