Haul is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily to join our team. As a dedicated solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to local Portland locations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Load and unload freight as required by customers.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Pass a Ryder drug test.
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Pass a Ryder road test.
- Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
- Have verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle, with at least 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years.
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $28.00 per hour.
- Weekly pay.
- Paid training.
- Opportunity to earn bonuses.
