As a Hair Stylist at Marriott International, you will provide exceptional hair care services to our guests. Your responsibilities will include shampooing, conditioning, and styling guests' hair, as well as examining skin, hair, or nails to evaluate their condition and appearance. You will also advise guests on proper skin, hair, or nail care and recommend home care regimens. Additionally, you will promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products, escort guests to and from treatment rooms, and set up workstations and treatment rooms with necessary products, equipment, and supplies. You will also be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and sterilizing tools, monitoring and sticking to time schedules, and handling inappropriate guest behavior. You will also be required to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager and complete safety training and certifications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience and a technical, trade, or vocational school degree. You will also be required to maintain current licensure in your service area. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. You will also be required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

We offer a competitive pay range of $30.34 to $30.34 per hour, depending on the types of services provided and applicable commissions or service charges. You will also be eligible for health care benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
