Embrace the role of a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) at REM Community Services:

Each day, you will take pride in your impactful work assisting individuals in their growth, learning, and overall well-being. Forge genuine connections with the individuals you support. Enjoy the trust and autonomy from your supervisors to make the right decisions for participants. Proactively engage participants in community activities and help them pursue their interests. Assist participants in achieving developmental objectives such as budgeting, dental care, fitness, and nutrition. Your role will involve providing care for individuals with diverse needs, including autism and similar conditions. In assisted living, this includes aiding with personal hygiene and offering support to those facing behavioral challenges and other complex needs. What You Will Bring to Sevita as a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP):

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Preferred six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.

Skills: Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) - STNA - Resident Assistant - Home Health Aide - Assisted Living Group Home Human Services.

Attributes: Patient, compassionate, dependable, responsible.

Vehicle: Must possess a valid driver's license and have been legally authorized to drive without restrictions for at least one year post-learner's permit, along with access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in certain roles.
