Job Overview

Tact Staff is looking for a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department (ED) for a travel nursing opportunity.

Position Details
  • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

All travelers must be COVID vaccinated, with medical or religious exemptions available upon request. Local travelers residing within a certain distance will not be considered.

Role Responsibilities

As part of the interdisciplinary team, you will utilize your professional nursing expertise to provide and manage patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to patient assessments and care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience in an ED setting
  • Active Illinois RN license at the time of submission
  • All certifications must be current, including BLS and ACLS
  • Ability to float to other campuses if required
