Senior RF Design Engineer

Job Summary

NuWaves RF Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior RF Design Engineer to join our team. As a subject-matter expert in Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave (MW) Engineering, you will play a key role in supporting our primarily DoD projects, ultimately contributing to the success of the US Military.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the RF Engineering Technical Teams to drive innovation and excellence in RF system design and development.
  • Develop and implement engineering methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with customers and potential customers on business development efforts, showcasing technical expertise and building strong relationships.
  • Write technical papers, white papers, status reports, and application notes to support NuWaves' strategic and tactical plans.
  • Mentor junior RF engineers and direct Engineering Technicians to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Work effectively with CAD engineers to capture design details and write test plans, reports, and system requirements.
  • Drive new thoughts in approach, processes, and methods to increase overall productivity and quality.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of RF module and/or RF Systems engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
Competencies
  • Technical leadership in setting and accomplishing project tasks.
  • Proficient in the design of RF systems.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the design of specialized RF circuits and systems.
  • Broad yet expert knowledge and understanding of RF electrical circuits and systems.
  • Expert in the use of Engineering Design Software tools (e.g. Genesys, AWR, SPICE).
