Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a Cardiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases in animals. You will work closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases in animals
  • Perform advanced diagnostic procedures, such as echocardiograms and electrocardiograms
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease
  • Collaborate with our team of veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care to our patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine and share knowledge with our team
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Board certification in veterinary cardiology
  • Experience in veterinary cardiology, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
